Susan Witte
Residing in the rural farmlands of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Susan Witte brings her pen and ink talents to Fine Art Limited Edition Prints featuring the Belgian Malinois, Border Collie, Rottweiler, and Flat Coat Retriever. Susan has a degree in Visual Communications and works full time as a Technical Artist. She and her family share their home and love with two Rottweilers. While raising and training these special members of her family, Susan began exploring canine portraiture art. Her rendition of the Rottweiler puppy in "Who .... Me?" shows her excellent abilities to capture both the detailed realism of a dog's portrait and the natural inner spirit of the animal. Witte excels in her talents with loving, caring expressions. "Drawing animals has always been a subject which most interests me. I use crisp, flowing lines so that you can feel the subject moving in the drawing. Dogs undoubtedly have wonderful expressive faces, particularly in the eyes, a quality that is extremely important to reflect in my art.
